went to go sell things in a village, and I told my merc to go do whatever he wanted to do

I forgot to tell him to come with me before I left, and now he's not there!  ???  Is this intentional? :P

He still shows up on the map, but he's not there.

lol never mind, if you go to a dungeon or some other town, he reappears.

He was shown on map in city but was not there? Can you save game next time this happens? Thanks!

uhhh, here it is. I tested it myself, the mercenary should be missing... if not, you can make him disappear by apparently leaving the village or town when he's in the inn.
