I changed the dialog to piece of sh1t. So I have no clue

even with the right dialogue I am puzzled. But still, haven't you made a backup of the text files you were modifying? To backup the original files is like a basic of modding.

The backup file is the 0.2.22 patch

Ahah! Good one. So, are you saying that you didn't download the patches since 0.2.21? If it is the case I recommend that you do at one point, because the patches fix a lot of bugs and crashes.
