Gow about in the forest area or village there would be a spot where a sign lays and on the sign there is a list of things that could be built. and the only way to build one of them would get the materials such as wood or stone to upgrade the village. And some kind of castal in the village.
Also some boss that spawns in a dungen that can only be killed by a holy gold that...that also be obtain by a quest...good, bad this came off the top of my head so i hope it helps
